Reading/English Language Arts-The children will review: homophone/homograph (sounds same but spelled different/sounds & spelled the same), author's purpose (persuade, inform, entertain), text structure (cause/effect, problem/solution, comparison/contrast), shades of meaning (good, better, and best words-cold, frozen, frigid), folk tale genres (fable, fairy tale, tall tale, legend, myth), and comparative/superlative (tighter/tightest, nicer, nicest).
Science/Social Studies- We are focusing rocks/minerals, habitats, magnets, heat, maps/globe skills, and the 4 resources (human, entrepreneur, capital, natural).
We will have a heat lab led by Georgia Power on Thursday 9L30-10:30, and we will have WOLFIE's Dance Party on Friday so remember to turn in your Wolfie's challenge form by Monday, April 14th.
